Research Fees & Terms:

• $25/hr. + expenses for research. Includes: reviewing information, planning a course of action, research, analysis, and written report.
• $200 deposit for 8 hours of research; $250 deposit for 10 hours. Checks and PayPal accepted. Limits can be set on the number of research hours.
  Sometimes the desired information cannot be found, but charges still apply for the research time spent.
• Expenses can include photocopies, postage, parking, telephone charges, film rentals, repository research fees, and mileage.
• The written report includes all of the sources researched, thorough analysis,
  results (both positive and negative), documentation, and suggestions for continued research.
• I belong to the Association of Professional Genealogists and adhere to their code of ethics. Occasionally, information is uncovered that could be
  sensitive or uncomfortable. However, I am obligated by the Code of Ethics to reveal negative or sensitive information.

• Detailed information on what you are looking for and what research you have already done. This avoids duplication of effort.
• Please include names, dates, places, children etc., if available.
• Include your name and address (both postal and e-mail).

Turn-around time: Generally, about 4-8 weeks. Rush jobs will be considered, at a higher rate. Contact me to negotiate this.
